George D. Spanos is a partner at Rogers, Shea & Spanos, a Rule 31 mediator, and a Certified Family Trial Law Advocate through the National Board of Trial Advocacy .He has focused his career on practicing all aspects of family law, including divorce and legal separation, martial contracts, allocation of parental responsibility (custody) actions, child support and spousal support modifications, post decree parenting time disputes, and appeals, as well as probate matters. Mr. Spanos was selected to become a Fellow of the Nashville Bar Foundation, which inducts approximately 2% of the members of the Nashville Bar Association. Mr. Spanos is also a graduate of the Nashville Bar Foundation’s Leadership Forum.
Mr. Spanos was elected as President Elect to the Tennessee Barr Associations Family Law Executive Council in 2023. He is also the Secretary of the Tennessee Trial Lawyer’s Association’s Executive Board, chairs the TTLA’s Domestic Legislation Committee, and co-chairs the TTLA’s annual Domestic Law Seminar. He is also a member of the Williamson County Bar Association, and American Bar Association. From 2016-2022, Mr. Spanos chaired the Williamson County Mock Trial Competition.
