TAPM Speaker Series:
Power Dynamics in Mediation
Power dynamics are present in every mediation, shaping how parties engage, negotiate, and reach resolution. Join TAPM for this interactive session with Kabrina Bass, a nationally recognized trainer who holds a Master’s degree in Conflict Management and certifications in both civil and family mediation. Participants will explore the many sources of power that surface in mediation, examine real-world examples of imbalance, and practice strategies for balancing participation through an engaging case exercise. Together we’ll consider how mediators can transform power from a barrier into a resource for constructive dialogue and fair outcomes.
